Simply put! Those who are involved in Lawrenceburg-Anderson County Chamber of Commerce and the community, get the most out of their membership. There are numerous opportunities for involvement within our organization!!

THE POWER OF NETWORKING – As many successful people will say, it is not always what you know, but who you know!  The Chamber has more than 200 member businesses with many representatives.  By participating in a variety of networking opportunities that the Chamber offers each month you can vastly increase the number of your business contacts.

CHAMBER RECOMMENDATIONS - We are a member-oriented organization; therefore, we only refer our members. We get hundreds of calls from all over the country from people looking for business or service information

 

Mailing Labels  For $25.00 we will provide you with our complete up-to-date mailing list (including contact names) of Chamber members via email, ready to go labels, or printed on labels if you do not have email. (This is included free in "New Member" packet)


CHAMBER CHAT  The newsletter will bring you up to date on chamber events, new members, public affairs concerns and so much more . Advertising is available. Call Chamber office for more details. This is published quarterly- between 200 to 400 copies printed and distributed.  This newsletter is displayed in business offices around our community. A great source of information and advertising!

                     REACH FULL MEMBERSHIP EASILY WITH INSERTS IN CHAMBER CHAT
Chamber members can include an 8 ½ x 11- inch insert promoting their business in the envelope containing The Chamber Chat and mailed to over 200 people for the nominal cost of $75.00. The only requirements are that you call us at 839-5564 to determine availability and provide us with 200 pre-printed and triple-folded flyers by 20th of the month preceding the month you wish your insert included.  Chamber Chat is a quarterly newsletter.

E-NEWS/CALENDAR

This email , E-News /calendar , sent once month on the 1st Monday. You have this opportunity to email me your business events or news or help wanted,  free! Your information can be sent at anytime, but note that it must be submitted at least 5 working days before e-calendar is due to be sent. Your information needs to be short, but informative.


LOGO  Let the world know you're a Chamber member of a respected business organization. Our Chamber logo is yours for the asking! Use in display ads, on letterhead, and business cards.It says a lot about your business when your clients see that you belong to Anderson Co. Chamber of Commerce.


GET ON THE WEB   Our new Web site is fully operational and all Businesses are entitled to a FREE basic listing. This listing includes a name, company, address, phone/fax, and direct link to Web URL and e-mail.  Advertising on the web is available to Chamber members!  Please contact the office for more details.


MEMBER TO MEMBER DISCOUNT  Some Chamber Business members offer member to member discounts. A few words in the Chamber chat and website,  describing your discount are FREE.


SPONSOR AFTER HOURS   This is a great way to get a large group acquainted with your goods or services and to generate networking and word-of mouth advertising. We'll do the advertising and provide the food, and if you provide the location, the cost is only $75.00.  If we provide the location, along with the advertising and food the cost is $145.00.


SPONSOR A LUNCHEON  This luncheon event provides networking opportunities, good food and a Speaker. As sponsor, all of your printed information is placed at each individual place setting and you deliver a 10- 15 minute verbal commercial for your business. There may be 30 sec. info commercials by each attending business. Cost $100.00 Luncheons are catered and paid by members in advance by RSVP.

 Chamber Members can now pay their membership, special events, and sponsorships, on line!   Please call office 502.839.5564 to get your  password to enter the "members login" site.

Investment dues for Chamber membership are TAX deductible!

RIBBON CUTTING / GROUNDBREAKING  - FREE!!

1. Ribbon Cutting/Grand Openings/Groundbreakings are done for Anderson County Chamber of Commerce members only. Any member who has opened a new business, relocated or expanded services is eligible.

2. Schedule your Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening/Groundbreaking with the Chamber office by the 10th of the month prior to the event. (Example: If your event will be in May, you need to contact the Chamber by April 10th). Your event & ribbon cutting photo will be listed in the Chamber's quarterly newsletter and published in the Anderson News "Chamber Connection" the last Wednesday of that month
3. The best time to have you ceremony is at Noon on Monday - Friday.

4. It is recommended that you provide light food & refreshments. Since the ceremony is scheduled at noon, many people will use this time for their lunch hour.

5. Either a photographer from the Anderson News or the Chamber will be there to take a photo. Our Mayor and County Judge is always invited to be at your special event.

6. You are welcome and in fact encouraged to invite other people that you know, including business associates, clients, friends, and family.


Chamber Committees & Functions

PUBLIC AFFAIRS
This committee serves to communicate with governing officials. Their role is to represent the interest of the Chamber members. They will develop relationships with local officials, state legislature members and national Congressional members. They will stay abreast of issues that may affect Chamber members and inform them of these events as they happen.

HOSPITALITY/SPECIAL EVENTS
This committee assists with the planning of any membership activity. This could include, but not be limited to, planning monthly meeting, after-hours socials, annual membership banquet or other special membership events that may take place on an annual or one-time basis.
This committee will assist with the coordination of relocation and welcome packets.
This committee will coordinate, with the fund raising committee, the development of sponsorship for special events.

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT/RETENTION
This committee will work with the membership to develop incentives to encourage new members and retain current members. This could include, but not limited to, doing membership benefits packages, etc.
This committee will need to coordinate closely with the Finance/Fund-Raising Committee.


AMBASSADOR/LEADERSHIP
This committee will coordinate the ambassador and leadership programs for the Chamber.
This committee will recommend for Chamber board approval no less than 12 current paid Chamber members to serve as Ambassadors and providing support as needed. They will create an incentives program for the Ambassadors to encourage their growth and level of participation in the program.
The committee will coordinate the Leadership Anderson County program. They will assist in the planning of the monthly activities, securing sponsorship and reviewing with the Executive Director to plan and implement the program of work.

EDUCATION ALLIANCE
This committee will work closely with the local schools and higher education programs. This would include, but not be limited to, developing a monthly visit plan to school, assisting with the development of a youth leadership program, developing a one-on-one relationship with key education officials.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
This committee will serve as the source for information on economic development as it pertains to Chamber members. They may, on a regular basis, survey the business community to keep informed of issues, successes and up-to-date statistical data. This committee may recommend business development, expansion and recruitment ideas. This committee will maintain an inventory of the economic climate of Anderson County.
